Tax Filing Made Easier

If you own crypto on January 1 of a year, you must report it in your income tax return. Cryptos are considered part of your personal assets and taxed under box 3 within the Netherlands: savings and investments.

Banks or trading platforms provide you an overview of balances at the end of a year. For crypto, you have to do this yourself, especially if you hold different cryptos!
